Miller’s book Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity, published in 2009. The dress code celebrates the spirit of Black dandyism, and the impact of Black designers on sartorial lineage. It is an expression of individuality and self-expression in the context of North American heritage.
